  • When the decay of a tooth is very deep, crack tooth or fractured due to trauma which affects the pulp . It cause the pulp to be infected or inflamed. Pulp is the region where all the nerve supply and blood supply of the tooth placed.
  • Root Canal Treatment performed to save the natural tooth. The infected or inflamed pulp is removed and replaced with a material called gutta percha.
  • An alternative for root treatment is having the tooth extracted.
